Start with clean, dry, thoroughly combed hair and apply heat protectant.
Plug in the wand and turn it on.
Divide hair into sections no wider than 1 inch. Use smaller sections for tighter, more defined curls.
Wrap each section around the wand, using your fingers or the included heat-resistant glove to hold the hair in place.
Hold briefly, then release the section from the wand.
Hold each curl in a spiral shape while it cools to help set the curl. Secure with a bobby pin if desired.
Continue throughout the hair, then gently separate or brush through the curls once completely cool.
